CAPABILITY · DOCUMENTS
AGI documents: files drafted, edited and organised.
An AGI documents agent should leave you with a finished file, not a cloud draft waiting to be exported. Zeus AGI drafts reports, proposals, spreadsheets and decks, edits them against your brief, formats them properly and checks the numbers before it reports. The files land in your project folder in the formats you already use, and they are yours to keep.
WHAT IT DOES
What an AGI documents agent handles
Documents are where business work becomes permanent. The proposal that wins the job, the report that explains the quarter, the procedure that keeps a process consistent and the deck that has to survive being read without you in the room all share the same requirement: the file has to be right before it leaves. Producing a file is easy. Producing one that survives review is the actual job.
An AGI documents agent works from the content outwards. First the substance: what the document has to say, who will read it, what decision it supports and what evidence sits behind each claim. Then the structure: the sections in the order a reader will need them, with the answer early and the detail where it belongs. Then the format: headings, tables, numbering, page breaks and the plain presentation that makes a document look like it was made on purpose.
Editing is a first-class part of the work. Most documents are not written from nothing; they are revised, updated, shortened or merged with a previous version. The agent can take an existing file, keep the parts that still apply, replace the parts that do not and preserve the formatting conventions the organisation already uses. That is often more valuable than a new draft, because it respects the work that came before it. The edit is judged by what a reader would notice, not by how much text changed.
Spreadsheets and presentations get the same treatment. A spreadsheet is checked for the numbers that do not add up, the columns that disagree on a definition and the summaries that no longer match the data beneath them. A deck is built so each slide carries one point that a reader can absorb without narration. Both are delivered as real files, not as screenshots of a table or an outline in a message.
The honest limit is that a document is only as good as the brief behind it. If the reasoning is thin, the file will be well formatted and still wrong. The agent asks for the decision the document supports and names the gaps it cannot resolve, rather than smoothing over a missing argument with confident prose.
The document set is often the real deliverable. A single report matters less than the fact that the next report follows the same structure, uses the same definitions and opens with the same kind of summary. The agent can hold that standard across a series, so the tenth document is consistent with the first instead of being a fresh interpretation by someone who has never seen the format.
- Reports, proposals and briefs drafted from a stated purpose
- Existing documents edited with the working parts preserved
- Spreadsheets checked for totals, definitions and broken summaries
- Decks built one point per slide rather than one paragraph per box
- Formatting, headings, tables and numbering handled properly
- Files delivered in the formats your tools already use
- Numbers checked against the data before delivery
- Gaps in the brief named rather than papered over
HOW IT WORKS
Four steps from a rough file to a finished document
01
Brief
The document’s purpose is established first: the reader, the decision it supports, the evidence that has to appear and the length that respects the reader’s time. A rough file is read as source material, not as the structure.
02
Draft
The content is written or revised section by section, with the answer early and the supporting detail where it belongs. Claims are supported or removed, and the language is kept in the voice the organisation already uses.
03
Format and cross-check
Headings, tables and numbering are made consistent, the summary is checked against the body and the numbers are checked against the source. A document that contradicts itself on page nine has failed even if page one is beautiful.
04
Deliver
The finished file is written to your project folder in the format your tools use, with a short note of what was changed, what was checked and what still needs a human decision before it is sent.
WHAT IT PRODUCES
Documents, spreadsheets and decks
Reports
Structured documents that lead with the finding, support it with evidence and keep the caveats close to the claim they qualify, ready for review rather than for rewriting.
Proposals
Documents that state the offer, the approach and the terms clearly, built to be read by a decision maker who has ten minutes and three other proposals to compare.
Procedures and guides
Step-by-step documents written in the order the work happens, with the assumptions stated and the exceptions named rather than buried in a footnote. A new person can follow it without calling someone.
Spreadsheets
Workbooks with clear columns, working formulas and summaries that agree with the rows beneath them, checked for the inconsistencies that survive casual use. The file can be trusted when it is shared.
Presentations
Decks where each slide makes one point and the sequence tells a story, built to be read without narration and to survive being forwarded to someone else.
Revised existing files
An old document brought up to date: kept where it still applies, changed where it does not, with the formatting conventions preserved and the previous version kept for reference.
FILES, NOT CLOUD DRAFTS
Files, not cloud drafts
A document that lives only inside an online editor is a document you rent. The agent writes real files into the project folder on your machine, in the formats the tools already handle, so the work can be opened, copied, archived and sent without an export step or a compatibility surprise. That is a quiet kind of ownership, and it is the kind that matters on a deadline. Portability is the quiet part of quality.
Version care is part of the job. Where a document is revised, the previous version is preserved rather than overwritten, so a change can be reviewed and reversed. On a shared folder, that discipline is what stops the fourth revision from becoming the only revision anyone can find. A revision history is also a form of memory.
Privacy follows the same local-first design as the rest of the product. Files stay on your hardware, and the model used to work on them is your choice: a hosted provider or a local model. For documents that contain commercial terms, personal data or anything under an agreement, that choice is not a preference; it is the condition that allows the work to happen at all. The choice of model is part of the document’s security posture.
The limits are honest. The agent can structure, write, format and check a document. It cannot sign it, approve it or take responsibility for it, and it will not pretend that a well-formatted file is a legally reviewed one. Those steps belong to people, and the run should make that clear rather than obscure it. A file is not approved because it is tidy.
- Files written to your project folder in standard formats
- Previous versions preserved when a document is revised
- Local files, with a model choice that respects the document's sensitivity
- Checks for consistency between summary, body and numbers
- Approval and signature left with people, not implied by the agent
- A delivery note of changes, checks and open decisions
BEYOND THIS
One capability, not the edge of the map
Documents are one of unlimited domains, and they sit inside a larger job. A proposal needs research, a report needs data, a deck needs images and a procedure needs a process to describe. Zeus AGI carries the thread across those steps, so the document that arrives is the one the research and the data actually support. The document is the visible end of a long chain.
This is one example. The skill and MCP system means the next domain is a request away. Zeus AGI acquires new skills and connects MCP servers, so a capability it does not ship with today can be added when the work calls for it. Describe the outcome on the anything page, read how invention is handled in beyond, and see the full map in capabilities. The mechanism is the same for a proposal as for a page.
The list is not the limit. Unlimited domains are examples of what the intelligence can take on now. The real constraint is the quality of the brief and the willingness to read the file before it is sent. The reader, not the writer, decides whether it worked.
- Anything: describe an outcome that is not on any capability page
- Beyond: invention, prototypes and repair work across domains
- Capabilities: the domains and what each one covers in practice
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Short, direct answers. If yours is missing, the full FAQ page has more.
Reports, proposals, briefs, procedures, spreadsheets and presentations, plus revised versions of documents that already exist. It drafts the content, builds the structure, handles the formatting and cross-checks the numbers before delivery. The output is a real file in the format your tools already use, written to your project folder rather than trapped inside an online editor. Every deliverable is checked before it is handed over.
Yes, and editing is often the better option. An AGI documents agent can take an existing file, keep the sections that still apply, replace the parts that have aged and preserve the formatting conventions the organisation already uses. Starting again throws away work that was often expensive to produce, so the default is to preserve what is working and change only what needs it. A revision that preserves good work is usually the cheaper one.
It checks that the summary agrees with the body, that totals agree with the rows beneath them and that figures in the text match the data they came from. A document that is well written and internally contradictory has failed at the thing documents are for. Where a number cannot be reconciled, the inconsistency is reported rather than rounded away. Internal consistency is the minimum standard for a serious document.
In your project folder on your machine, in standard file formats. They can be opened, copied, archived and sent without an export step. Previous versions are preserved when a document is revised, and nothing depends on a hosted workspace staying open. That is what makes a document an asset rather than a temporary view of one, and the folder is the archive where the asset lives.
The agent works with standard office file formats and writes real files that open in the tools you already use. If a specific conversion or format is needed, it is handled as part of the brief rather than assumed. The aim is that the file works where you work, not that you adopt a new tool to read what the agent produced. Matching your existing tools is part of the delivery.
You do. The files are yours to keep, edit, publish and archive, and there is no library of generated documents held behind a subscription. Local-first storage means the work survives the software, which matters for contracts, reports and anything that has to be available years after it was written. Ownership is what makes an archive worth maintaining.
It can. Given a folder of documents, it can read them, describe what each one is, rename them consistently and group them into a structure that makes sense for the work. That takes less time than it sounds and saves more than it takes, because the archive is where work goes to become unfindable.
BEYOND THIS
This is one example. The next domain is a request away.
Zeus AGI acquires the skills it needs and connects MCP servers, so the scope is not a fixed feature list. If the work is digital or device based, it is in scope.
Bring the file.
Bring the rough document, the report that needs rewriting or the folder that needs order. The first delivery is a real file you can open straight away.
