THE WEB
AGI browser agent: the web, with your permission.
An AGI browser agent does the web work that eats a day: opens the browser, navigates the real interface, fills the form, checks the result and records what changed. Zeus AGI works through the browser the way you do, with your sessions and your permissions, and it verifies the outcome instead of reporting that a click happened.
WHAT IT DOES
AGI browser agent: what it does on the web
The web is where a lot of work actually lives: supplier portals, admin dashboards, booking systems, ticketing tools, reporting consoles, registration pages. They are rarely connected by an API you can call. They are a page with fields, buttons and a login. A browser agent works at that level: it opens the browser, reads the interface, acts on it and confirms the outcome.
The important word is real. This is not a scraper that reads a page and stops at the edge of the HTML. It operates the interface: types into fields, selects options, confirms dialogues, downloads the file, uploads the replacement, moves through a multi-step flow. When a step is ambiguous, it reads the page again and decides the next action from what is visible rather than from a script written for one layout.
That makes it useful for the long tail of web work that no integration covers. Refreshing prices in a supplier portal. Pulling a monthly report from a dashboard that has no export button. Registering a batch of attendees. Checking a booking flow after a theme update. Reading six sources and putting the findings where the next step can use them. The work is ordinary and time-consuming, which is exactly the work that should be handed over.
It is also where a general intelligence earns its keep. The browser is one tool among several, so the agent can leave it and come back: pull the data from the portal, compare it in a file, update the site through CMS, then reopen the browser to confirm the page. The thread survives the transitions because the same intelligence holds the goal.
All of it runs under your permissions. The agent uses the access you grant, on the machine you choose, and it stops for approval where an action cannot be undone. A browser session is your session; the agent is the worker using it, not a separate identity acting in your name.
There is a second gain beyond the time saved: consistency. A person doing the same portal routine on a busy Friday will skip a check, misread a column or forget to download the evidence. The agent runs the same steps, in the same order, with the same verification, every time. Consistency is not glamorous, but in reporting and admin work it is the difference between a record you can trust and one you have to audit twice.
- Navigates real websites and logs in with the access you grant.
- Fills, submits and confirms forms and multi-step flows.
- Reads dashboards, tables and reports from the live interface.
- Downloads, uploads, renames and files what it retrieves.
- Hands the result to another domain, such as data, CMS or code.
HOW IT WORKS
From a URL to a verified outcome
01
Grant the access
You decide what the agent may reach: a browser profile, a session you sign in to, a set of permitted domains and the actions that need approval. Access is scoped on purpose. Nothing wider than the job requires, and nothing irreversible without a gate. The grant is written down, so it can be reviewed, narrowed or withdrawn.
02
Navigate and read
The agent opens the browser, reaches the right page and reads what is actually there: labels, states, errors, tables and confirmations. If the site has changed, it adapts to the interface in front of it instead of failing on a selector that no longer exists. Reading the live page is what makes the difference when a site changes without warning.
03
Act on the interface
Fields are filled, options set, files uploaded, steps confirmed. Where the flow branches, the agent follows the branch the page presents. Where a step is risky, it pauses and asks. It does not guess a password, bypass a check or pretend a submission succeeded. The risky steps are the ones that wait, and the wait is visible on the task board.
04
Verify what changed
The last step is proof. The agent reloads the page, checks the confirmation, compares the dashboard value, reopens the file or confirms the record exists. The report says what happened, what was checked and where the result is, not just that the browser closed. The evidence is attached to the task, so the check can be repeated later.
IN PRACTICE
What browser work looks like in practice
A supplier portal price refresh
Read the current prices, compare them with the local sheet, flag the movements and update the sheet. The report names what changed and what was left alone. A portal report is only useful if the figure on it can be traced.
A dashboard report with no export
Read the visible figures across the date range, transcribe them into a structured file, reconcile the totals and save the evidence for the next reporting step. The agent keeps the raw capture alongside the summary.
A batch of registrations
Work through the form for each attendee, attach the right documents, confirm each submission and return a list of accepted, pending and failed entries. The result is filed where the next step expects it.
A checkout flow after a change
Run the purchase path on a test basket, test the failure cases, record where it breaks and pass the findings to the code workstream for a fix. The test basket is separate from live orders, by design.
Research across many tabs
Open the sources, extract the relevant passages, note the dates, compare the claims and produce one brief with the links still attached. The date and the source stay attached to every note.
A scheduled portal check
Return to the same portal on a schedule, confirm the status, capture the changes and alert you only when something moved outside the expected range. The alert is only as noisy as the rule you give it.
THE DIFFERENCE
A task bot versus a general intelligence on the web
Task bots automate one known flow. A general intelligence works the flow, then handles what comes next. The difference shows up the first time the interface changes.
A task-specific browser bot
- Built for one flow and one layout.
- Breaks when the page or the selector moves.
- Stops at the login or the second system.
- Cannot use the result outside the browser.
- Reports a click, not a verified outcome.
- Assumes the page will look the same tomorrow.
Zeus AGI as a browser agent
- Reads the live interface and adapts the route.
- Works multi-step flows with judgement at each branch.
- Carries the result into files, code, data or the site.
- Pauses at irreversible actions for your approval.
- Verifies the outcome and logs the evidence.
- Re-reads the page and adjusts the route when it does not.
HONEST LIMITS
Access, approvals and the honest limits
Browser work is powerful precisely because it acts inside your accounts, so the permissions model matters more here than anywhere else. The agent uses the access you grant and nothing beyond it. Irreversible actions, such as submitting an order, sending a message, deleting a record or changing a live setting, wait for your approval. The log records what was read, what was changed and what was left alone.
Some things it will not do. It does not solve CAPTCHAs to get around an access control, does not bypass a site’s authentication or anti-automation measures, and does not pretend a blocked action succeeded. Where a site actively refuses automation, that is reported as a limit of the site rather than a failure to disguise. Two-factor prompts and identity checks that need a human are yours to complete.
The practical limit is the same as a person’s: a page you cannot see, an account you cannot access, a decision that needs authority. The difference is that the agent will tell you which of those it hit. A run that stops for approval is a working run. A run that claims success without evidence is the thing this design exists to avoid.
Local-first matters here too. The browser session, the files it reads and the output it produces stay on your machine by default. You choose which model providers are used and which sites are in reach. That is a different privacy posture from a cloud bot that needs your credentials and your data in someone else’s environment.
The pattern that makes this safe is small permissions and clear stops. A task that reads a dashboard is different from a task that submits a form, and a task that submits a form is different from one that changes a setting other people depend on. Each gets its own scope and its own gate. The agent does not need more access than the job, and the approval rule can be as specific as a single button on a single page.
- Scoped access, not a blank cheque for the whole web.
- Approval before any irreversible submission or change.
- No CAPTCHA solving or bypassing of access controls.
- Evidence for every claim, including the ones that failed.
FAQ
Questions, answered.
Short, direct answers. If yours is missing, the full FAQ page has more.
An AGI browser agent is a general intelligence that operates a real browser: it opens pages, logs in with the access you grant, fills forms, reads dashboards and confirms the result. Zeus AGI does this as part of a wider job, so the data it reads in the browser can feed a file, a report, a site update or a code fix. The browser is one tool in the workstream, not a separate product. It is the web half of the domains.
It can use a session or profile you provide, and it can sign in where you have granted the credentials. Access is scoped to the job. The session stays on your machine and the agent does not store or reuse credentials beyond what the task needs. Two-factor prompts and identity checks that require a human remain yours to complete, and the agent waits rather than working around them. The session is the permission, and you hold it.
Yes, as long as the interface can be seen and operated. It reads labels, states and errors from the live page and adapts when the layout changes, which is the main difference from a selector-based bot. Multi-step flows are handled step by step with a check at each stage. Where a flow branches or asks for a judgement, the agent follows the branch the page presents or asks you. Each branch is a decision point, not a guess.
It will not solve CAPTCHAs to get around access controls, bypass authentication or defeat a site’s anti-automation measures. It cannot see a page it is not permitted to reach, complete a human identity check on your behalf, or make a legal acceptance for you. If a site refuses automation, the agent reports the refusal rather than disguising the attempt. Those limits are stated, not worked around. Honest limits are part of what a browser agent is.
It checks the same evidence a careful person would: the confirmation message, the updated dashboard value, the record in the list, the file that was downloaded, the page reloaded after the change. Where the site offers no confirmation, the agent verifies indirectly and says so. The evidence log records the check, so a report can distinguish between a submitted form and a confirmed submission. Evidence is what turns an action into a result.
By default the browser session, the files read and the outputs produced stay on your machine. You choose which model providers are used for reasoning and which sites the agent may reach. That is different from a cloud browser service that holds the session and the data. The privacy model is local-first, and the permissions are the boundary you set before the run begins. The same privacy model covers every domain.
Yes. Recurring portal checks, dashboard snapshots and reporting runs can be scheduled like any other Zeus AGI task. The scheduled run opens the browser, performs the same verified flow and reports only what changed or what needs attention. Scheduled work still respects the same approval rules, so a routine check can run unattended while a submission waits for you. Scheduled checks are the routine part of browser work.
BEYOND THIS
This is one example. The next domain is a request away.
Zeus AGI acquires the skills it needs and connects MCP servers, so the scope is not a fixed feature list. If the work is digital or device based, it is in scope.
Hand over the portal.
If the work happens in a browser, describe the flow and the access you are willing to grant. Zeus AGI will work the interface, verify the result and show you the evidence. The web is one domain of twenty, and the list is not the limit.
